Cleaning the Right Way With Eco-Friendly Products
Cleaning the bathroom is one chore that most people would rather skip out on. Not only does it take a lot of work, but you have to use a bunch of chemicals to get things clean. The only way to avoid using the chemicals is to choose eco-friendly cleaning products that are much better for the environment. If you would like to begin cleaning with these green products, there are some tips you may be interested in trying out.
Do a Little Bit on a Daily Basis
If you only clean once or twice a month, you are going to have a lot more work to do. Why allow the dust, dirt and all of those germs to continue building up when you can take care of them each day? You do not have to use harsh chemicals to get the bathroom as clean as possible.
Do you have a bit of mildew growing on your shower curtain? If so, you can wipe it off with a scrub brush and vinegar, which helps to remove both mildew and mold. You may even want to wash it in your washing machine for a few minutes.
You do not have to spend a lot of money on polishing products. If you want your faucet and any other fixtures to sparkle and look brand new, mix equal parts of lemon juice and baking soda. Carefully rub the mixture over these fixtures and use a damp cloth to wipe them off as soon as the mixture starts to dry. You should see a difference at that moment.
It is not uncommon for people to get water spots on different things inside the bathroom. Although you may assume that it will be hard to get rid of those spots, it is actually a quick fix that will only take a few minutes of your time. You can wet a cloth with white vinegar and then set the cloth on top of those spots. Leave the cloth on for several hours and then come back to the bathroom to wipe everything down.
